The extra attention bestowed on the family, in preparation for this visit, gives it a feeling of elevated status and a brighter future. The visit is a great success with a grand welcome, photo shoots, interaction with Press & local leaders, dinner and wide media coverage. But the family is neglected, faces embarrassment and gets a raw deal driving it to despair.
