Shortly before her wedding to her long-time boyfriend and colleague Marc, successful neurosurgeon Judith Weiß falls in love with musician Daniel. However, Daniel is seriously injured in a tragic accident and falls into a coma. All medical efforts fail, and Daniel dies.
