An interweaving tale of 3 characters as they navigate various struggles dealing with health, loss, dreams, and unfulfillment. Lu Bai Cheng is a bartender who comes home nightly to his mentally ailing wife and two children. Across town, Bai Rong, a music teacher and wife to a wealthy businessman, is searching for answers to her amenorrhoea. Bai Rong's father-in-law, a retired soldier, is facing his own difficulties as well - needing a full-time caregiver after the death of his wife.
